COLOBFOLGO

Outdoor Living Designed for Tuscan Light

Colobfolgo creates terrace and garden-room concepts for homes across Pisa and the Arno coastal plain.

Pisa Terraces Reimagined

Historic centre apartments and suburban villas alike suffer from underused outdoor square metres. Our studio transforms rooftops, loggias, and ground terraces into coherent living extensions with material palettes suited to Mediterranean climate.

Design fees are quoted in euros from €1,850 for balcony concepts to €16,500 for multi-zone terrace masterplans.

Design Documentation Only

We deliver layout drawings, paving schedules, planting plans, pergola concepts, and furniture placement guides. Construction and planting execution remain with client-appointed contractors throughout Tuscany.

Every specification references products available through Pisa and Lucca building suppliers with realistic lead times.

Climate-Conscious Planning

Summer shade, winter sun penetration, and tramontana wind exposure are resolved at drawing stage. Terraces that overheat by June receive pergola and planting strategies documented before any structural work begins.

Drainage gradients and waterproofing interfaces with existing building fabric appear on section drawings at 1:20 scale.

Material Vocabulary

Local travertine, terracotta tile, weathered ipe, and powder-coated aluminium feature in our Pisa projects. We avoid materials that fail within five Tuscan summers: untreated pine, thin composite decking, and non-UV-stable fabrics.

Sample boards couriered to clients include actual stone chips and tile fragments evaluated under south-facing light.

Commission Process

Projects begin with on-site survey measuring existing conditions, views, and access constraints. Concept presentation occurs within four weeks; final documentation six weeks from commission.
